Days after June “Mama June” Shannon denied reports that she’s dating the man convicted of molesting her oldest daughter, Mama June’s ex-boyfriend’s brother opens up about the scandal that has rocked his family.
“The truth ... June is lying,” says Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson in an exclusive interview with Dr. Phil airing today. Uncle Poodle, who claims that he drove Mama June and two of her children to visit with Mark McDaniel, says he didn’t realize that he was a convicted sex offender until afterward. “It kind of ticked me off that she would take a 9-year-old around a guy who molested her daughter 10 years ago,” he says about Mama June and his niece Honey Boo Boo, who gained fame on TLC’s now-cancelled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
