Protests in Hong Kong intensified on Wednesday, as pro-democracy advocates demanded action on National China Day.
Meanwhile, a video emerged of a dramatic encounter between a protester and police during Saturday's protests. In the clip, a fight breaks out between police and demonstrators. Afterwards, an older protester appears to address the crowd, his back towards police. An officer then taps him on the arm, and when he turns around, sprays him directly in the face with pepper spray.
A shorter clip drew attention over the weekend, but the full video emerged on Tuesday.
Hong Kong's Digital Broadcasting Company captured the confrontation, which occurs 55 seconds into the video above.
