Hopen Place Residence In Los Angeles, California Is A Total Modern Dream (PHOTOS)

Hint: We wish we could be "Friends" with him.

As the weather gets nicer, we find ourselves wistfully browsing properties with fabulous outdoor spaces. So, when we came across this Hopen Place residence in Los Angeles on The Pinnacle List we were floored. From the curb, the house is an unassuming midcentury modern bungalow, but around back, it features what are arguably the best grounds we've ever seen. A stunning "wet edge" infinity pool, a sleek firepit and seemingly miles of lounge areas surround the modern abode and look out to a panoramic view of the city. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to the courtyard and create a seamless transition from indoors to out.

And the inside isn't too shabby either. This 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 4,000-square-foot home boasts beautiful walnut floors throughout, top-of-the-line appliances and custom furniture. We love the surprising use of color: a bathroom clad in tangerine subway tile and a kitchen with bright pops of lime green. And the home theater has the most plush-looking chairs that would seat a dozen of our closest friends. But, we aren't the only ones who appreciate the home's appeal. Actor Matthew Perry from "Friends" bought it in August 2011 for $8.5 million.
