Hot Day? Make Chocolate-Covered Strawberries In Your Car

When life gives you heat, use it to bake some sweet treats -- right in your car.

To make summer's grueling high temperatures more bearable, Phoenix TV station 12 News has been making a series of viral videos explaining how to use the heat inside your car to do some cooking.

The latest clip, above, shows how strawberries and chocolate become chocolate-covered strawberries in just 20 minutes in the 109-degree heat.

The station then placed the chocolate-covered strawberries in a freezer to transform them into an icy snack for a hot day.

If you have even more time, the station also posted a video showing cookies baking in a car. It took about 5 hours, but if you put the dough in the car during lunch, you could be enjoying fresh-baked cookies on the ride home.

Check out that video below.

The same temperatures that can melt chocolate in just 20 minutes can be dangerous or even deadly to children and pets, so the demonstrations also serve as a stark reminder to never leave anyone in the car, even for a short period of time.
