Continuing our printed trend, The Underwear Expert recently highlighted polka dot underwear. Not just for kids anymore, polka dot underwear can be reminiscent of childhood, but more than that, it provides the wearer with a youthful look, style, and attitude.
The history of the polka dot originated in its simplicity - the dots were small and close together. But now, polka dots have branched out into all different sizes, shapes, and colors - and not just on regular clothing, but obviously on underwear, too.
We highlighted seven different pairs of underwear in our most recent polka-dot-themed underwear shoot. Some pairs are entirely fun, while others are - dare we say it? - very professional.
The aussieBum Spot Range has an "old school" take on polka dots this season. The underwear has a white body with black polka dots, for a 1950s-ish look.
The Happy Socks Big Bot Boxer has a more bubbly, and brightly-colored polka dot look in their underwear line. Overall, the look is very contemporary, for the more modern man who wants to update his underwear drawer, or just simply keep it looking fresh.
Croota and Levi's have a more minimalist approach to polka dotted underwear. Croota's Sprinkles 02 Boxer Brief has alternating dot colors, while Levi's has a fun red star print (yes - stars can count as dots in this case).
The Canadian brand, JM, uses metallics to show off their polka dotted underwear. The print is minimal, but it still shows off your greatest assets with that bit of flash.
