Kindara is one of a growing number of fertility tracking apps -- and it's helping women learn more about their bodies.

The app, launched by CEO Denise Franklin, helps women track their fertility cycles. In order to avoid pregnancy or to help a woman get pregnant, Kindara tracks what time of the month a woman is ovulating. Although fertility tracking is not as effective as other contraceptives such as condoms or the pill, it's a safe alternative to hormonal birth control.
