Think about your life right now and how it’s going. Are you working all the time? Are you having fun? Is there passion in your life, or are you just going through the motions?
“If you’re living for what you don’t want instead of for what you do want, you’ve got to change something,” says Dr. Phil.
He points out that for many people, more of their life has passed than the years they have left, so he suggests you take a close look at your life and decide if you’re really living the life you want or if you need to make a change.
“I don’t care if you’re 20, 30, 45, you want to make conscious decisions about your life,” says Dr. Phil, who has partnered with AARP and Life Reimagined to offer an interactive course guiding people to reflect, evaluate their priorities and take action to live their best lives. He suggests taking the Life Manager Performance Appraisal Test, one of the exercises on the Life Reimagined website, to see how you’re doing as your own life manager.
“You don’t want to waste a minute … I want to use every minute as vibrantly as I can, don’t you?” Dr. Phil says. “Take the time to thoughtfully do this. You will be glad you did.”
