Now that the final episode has been filmed for the CBS hit sitcom “How I Met Your Mother," the cast appeared on an episode of Bravo’s “Inside the Actor’s Studio” with host James Lipton to discuss their characters. Bravo released a brief teaser clip from the interview, and the actors simply couldn’t be more charming during their sit-down.
Armed with nine years of plot lines and jokes, Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel and Cobie Smulders all offered their two cents on the show's run. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the interview is packed with all sorts of hilarious and meaningful interpretations.
In the clip above, Lipton, in true Lipton fashion, asks Harris if he can speak to the character Barney Stinson. What ensues is a funny moment between Harris and Radnor that demonstrates a pretty great understanding of their characters.
In another moment, Harris describes his character, saying: “I think Barney’s delusional. He lies overtly about things because if it was a boring night, he’ll just make it a better night.”
And it that's not enough to get you excited for the full interview, US Weekly reports Smulders and Hannigan even make out in character!
The full "Inside the Actor's Studio" interview featuring the cast of "How I Met Your Mother" will premiere March 27 on Bravo. "How I Met Your Mother" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT on CBS; the series finale will air March 31.
