What if you could say I am confident, healthy and willing to learn in every area of life? Followed by: I can handle this moment. I don't know how to lose fifty pounds, start my business, heal the fears and anxiety that have held me back AND I have the confidence that I can find the tools and resources necessary to get there.

There is no quick fix. No magic pill. If quick fixes worked, you would have gotten what you wanted long ago. The strategies below are for you if you are ready for confidence to hold your bold vision, clasp your burning desire, grip your biggest self and take the steps necessary every day to live THAT. It is hard work, vomit, sweat and tears in my experience. It is walking past well-meaning friends and family that have illuminated your greatest fears and doing it anyhow (FYI: their voices are just the reflection of your inner critic).

It means making a plan and sticking to it even when it is not easy.

Repeat After Me: "I have gotten this far with the tools and resources I have and I am willing to broaden that horizon and grow." I can promise you, beating yourself up now for what you have not accomplished yet is a luxury you cannot afford.

11 Strategies to Live in Confidence, Health and Willingness to Learn

Try one new thing today. Make it small and build on the success in the coming week:
•Breathe. From your toes to the top of your head, feel your breath.
•Smile at a stranger. (sounds odd to say but in our world it can be a huge step)
•Make a To Do list for today with three things on it and complete them. (NOT 300).
•Leave four bites of food on your plate at dinner and throw them away.
•Go for a walk around your block.
•Try a new exercise at the gym. Ask for help if you need to.
•Set your alarm one hour earlier and get up, even if you are tired.
•Set yourself a 10-minute timer to dance in your living room.
•Pay attention: set a 30-minute timer and record where your time goes - to productivity or distraction.
•Do 10 pushups in the middle of your workplace.
•Call a friend you 'wish you had time' to call.

Take baby steps in the direction of your hearts desire. Little steps become big steps and each one builds confidence, health and joy! Track your progress, celebrate with friends who want you to grow and watch your body and mind thrive!

My favorite quote about taking responsibility for ourselves and our experience comes from J.K. Rowling.

"There is an expiration date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction; the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you." --J.K. Rowling

You are old enough to read this, you are old enough to let go of the past and bring yourself completely into present time so that you create a future full of confidence, health and learning.

I didn't say it will be easy AND I know You Can Do IT!
