Starting an online business can be overwhelming and down right scary!

It's a whole new world out there, and not every is going to support you. I remember when I first started my entrepreneurial journey I was afraid of failure, I didn't want to tell ANYONE about my new business because I was terrified of what everyone would think of me if I wasn't successful.

I was so caught up in everyone else's opinions that my business suffered. And I noticed that this wasn't just an issue I dealt with, that it's also a BIG problem for a lot of new business owners.

We get so absorbed in everyone else's advice and opinions that something that was really clear becomes messy and confusing. When you first start your online business your friends and family will have a lot to say about it. This can be really unsettling, as we all know that they have our best interests at heart. Although when it comes down to it you have to do what feels right, and often this means ignoring the advice of family and friends.

When it comes down to it often your family and friends are NOT your target market, so take their advice and concerns with a grain of salt. Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur... so not everyone will understand your ambitions. Some people are happy to work 9-5 for the rest of their life, although it doesn't mean that you have to follow the same path. Some people will think you're absolutely crazy, and others will support you whole-heartedly.

Unfortunately it's the ones who don't support us that affect us the most!

A lot of women who start out online hide behind the business and are too afraid to show their true self. What I mean by this is that they are hiding behind a logo, not sharing any personal information and are too embarrassed to record videos and share content online.

My advice to you is to realize that what other people think of you is none of your business. You can't please everyone is this world and that is ok!

All you can do is be yourself, be honest and be authentically you.

Don't let ANYONE hold you back.

Connecting with your audience is vital to your success in your online business.

Let the world see you and give value everywhere you can.
