In today's fast-paced market, bloggers have managed to find a way to not only make a name for themselves in popular culture, but to earn a very substantial living while they do it. Bloggers are no longer people sitting alone in their basements talking about fan-fiction or theories on their favorite fantasy television shows. Today's bloggers are successful entrepreneurs, and many of them are self-made millionaires as well.

The great thing about blogging is that virtually anyone can do it, if you have the right niche, the right credibility and enough commitment. If you have been blogging but want to take your blog to the next level, and achieve millionaire status, there are a few things that you can do to really boost the effectiveness of your blog. Keep these tips in mind as you create and promote your own blog, they may just be what you need to take your blogging efforts and your bank account to the next level.

Make Sure You Have Solidified Yourself as an Expert
People don't want to follow blogs of just anyone they want to follow the blogs of real experts. You need to establish yourself as an expert within your niche and prove that you are a real pro. One of the best ways to do this is to use your real life experiences to dictate what you know and why you know it. Anyone can research a subject online and write about it, you need to prove why you know more than the average person.

Supplement your own individual expertise and your words of wisdom with the words of wisdom from others. In the blogging world, testimonials are a huge help. The more testimonials you can pepper into your content the better off you will be. Before I launched my Millionaire Challenge, I had already achieved a level of success that made me the expert on what I do.

Always Be Writing New Content
You need to constantly be creating, thinking about, developing and writing new content for your blog. The more information you can put out the better. You won't reach the type of following that millionaire bloggers tend to have by sporadically writing a post or two. You need to constantly be churning out the information.

Once you write this content you need to start promoting it on social media, and through a variety of social media platforms. You need to have accounts on all of the big social media sites and use them all equally. Remember the more information you can create and put out into the market and to a wide-ranging group of individuals, the better off you will be. Different people prefer different social networks so you need to use all of them. Two of your biggest goals should be to create more content and reach more viewers. Always be thinking bigger.

Add Photos and Videos
Writing is a big part of blogging, but don't neglect photos and videos. You need to create high-quality photos that you can use both in your blog entries and on your social media pages. Invest in an actual photographer or a nice camera and a friend that can take images. The higher quality the pictures, the more professional you will look. It may seem like an expense up-front, but it is one that you should really consider investing in.

In addition to photos, you should also consider videos. Videos are a great way to supplement traditional blog posts and to get the same information out in a different format. Not everyone has the patience to sit down and read all of your blog posts each and every day, so keep things exciting with video.

Focus on Valuable Content... But Don't Be Afraid to Give it Away For Free
Your number one goal with all of the content that you create should be value. The more value that you can bring to your content the better. You need to be showing or teaching people something with all of your posts. After all, if you are not giving them something of value, they likely won't keep coming back.

Keep in mind, just because your information is valuable, it doesn't mean that you should always charge people for it. If you want to have a really strong following, and a following that can transform you into a millionaire blogger, then you need to deliver this type of quality content for free. While it doesn't seem like a great way to make money, you need to focus on your brand reputation and your following first, and this is one of the best ways to be strong with both. One of the reasons my blog has been so successful is because I offer a library of over 500 free videos and huge free guides like this one.

Keep It Fun
A blog is meant to be entertaining, even while it is informative. As you use these tips to start creating your content, remember that even with serious topics, it is important that you are keeping things entertaining and engaging. It can be tempting to create really dry content in an effort to be serious and to establish yourself, but focus on keeping your tone a little more lighthearted. It can go a long way in making your content exciting and readable and help you develop a bigger following of devoted readers.
