I've been a mom for over seven years, and have three kids. The very first pediatrician that saw my kids changed my life. He taught me, and my husband, this trick when we first met, and I can assure you that it works.

As Dr. Hamilton (Dr. Bob as we call him) tells you in the video, if your baby is not feeling well, or is hungry, this won't work.

Good luck, new moms, dads, and any other helpful relative that gets the amazing feeling of holding a newborn!

One: Fold arms across the chest
Two: Secure arms gently
Three: Grasp diaper area
Four: Rock at a 45 degree angle
