Keep a maximum of three sets of sheets per bed. This way, you can have one on the bed, one in the laundry and one in the linen closet. If space is really tight, reduce the number to two sets -- one to use and one to wash. To store sheet sets, take the flat sheet, fitted sheet and one or more pillowcases, and then put them inside the other pillowcase. The result: Stackable bundles that sit neatly on a shelf and are easy to grab and use when needed.
