How To Find Work You Love

Lessons from four years of learning about joyful, meaningful work.

Scott Dinsmore's TED talk, "How to Find Work You Love," was already a viral hit. Now it's getting a new wave of attention after Dinsmore died tragically last month. The 33-year-old was struck and killed by falling rocks while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with his wife; the two had taken time off together to travel around the world.

Below, watch Dinsmore's talk, delivered in San Francisco in 2013. Via TED: "Dinsmore quit a job that made him miserable, and spent the next four years wondering how to find work that was joyful and meaningful. He shares what he learned in this deceptively simple talk about finding out what matters to you β€” and then getting started doing it."
