
What steps can we take to improve our memory?
In an interview with BigThink.com, Gary Small, a professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine, explains that it's possible to improve our memory ability with a simple, three-step strategy that he calls "look, snap, connect": pay attention to what you're doing, create a mental snapshot of information you want to remember later, and connect that mental snapshot with things you already know.
