We all know that good things are worth fighting for. And that's probably the only reason any of us bother peeling and chopping garlic. Garlic is stubborn and sticky, and doesn't want to shed its outer skin. But it does amazing things to our recipes, and so we battle it happily. Of course, we're also grateful for the hacks that make dealing with garlic easier.
Not that long ago we shared with you Saveur's trick to quickly peeling a head of garlic. (Just heavily shake it between two bowls.) But we've now come across a trick that's a little bit easier and a lot less noisy. All you need is a microwave. Watch the video above and see how it's done.
