How To Remove CD Scratches

We’d never think of this.

Discs can easily be ruined due to minor scratches. If you’ve encountered this problem, chances are you’ve had to throw your favorite movie or album out. But Yahoo found a very clever way to remove CD scratches with a piece of bubble gum.

First, chew the gum until it’s flexible. Then, wipe it across the scratch. Next, actively rub from the center of the disc outward until fully covered. Then, under water, rinse the gum residue. Finally, dry the CD with a soft cloth.

This trick will work on light scratches. And though it may sound like a sticky situation, it’s definitely better than having to buy new stuff!
