How to Show the World Your Most Authentic Self

I realized at that moment that I couldn't hide anymore. In order for me to live my purpose and to impact the lives of my readers I needed to be authentic to who I am. I needed to start telling the truth, if I was ever really going to be able to help those that need me most.

Almost two years ago, I realized I had a story that I knew needed to be shared with the world. I had an undenying urge that this was my path, my purpose, and my calling. I couldn't really explain the urge to anyone other than an open empty void in the pit of my stomach waiting to be filled. I knew there was more to life than just going through the motions. I decided share my new found knowledge in a book, but was afraid to tell the world it was really inspired by my story.

When I was in the processes of launching my blog and building a platform, I was terrified to be authentic. There was so much that I wanted to talk about and to share with my audience, but I didn't know what people would think or say about what had now become my authenticity...

I was scared and still really learning my truth and who I really was. My life had changed drastically and I now viewed people, relationships, and the world very differently then I ever had before.

I knew I was here to bring forth a loud and powerful message, but I still wasn't ready for the message to come from me, so I hid behind the voice of Samantha, the protagonist from my book, Musings of an Earth Angel.

However, when people weren't getting it, I mean not understanding that the story is so much more than a fiction and fantasy story, I knew I needed to be truthful about what had really happened to me. The entire point of the book is to open people up to their own divine truth, the power that they hold within, and to the fact that we all have a field of angels that are trying tirelessly to get our attention. Many of my readers weren't getting it because they thought it was fiction and all just a story and a joke...

I realized at that moment that I couldn't hide anymore. In order for me to live my purpose and to impact the lives of my readers I needed to be authentic to who I am. I needed to start telling the truth, if I was ever really going to be able to help those that need me most.

I know that in order to truly help to heal the world I must show the world my most authentic self. I am finally ready to connect, teach, heal, and share through my own perspective and voice. I am no longer going to allow myself to live in fear of what other people will think and say. I now understand that to fully blossom and shine in the world it is critical to be authentic and to be comfortable doing so. Moving forward I will be practicing what I preach.

The truth is, I had a very unexpected and massive awakening. I had things happen to me that I only thought could happen in the movies. (Which is why this makes such a great fiction story!) Just to give you an idea of a few of theses things -- I heard voices, loud voices, with no people around speaking them. I saw images, flashing lights, and white silhouettes fading in and out when I was at home alone. I had apparently opened up some type of portal that allowed me to communicate with the divine through writing and visions...

I am now proudly living a life in full alignment with my soul and who I came here to be and I have never been happier! It is truly beautiful to see the radical shifts and transformations that are happening with my clients.

I would love to share with you 4 ways that you can remove your mask and be true to who you really are!

1. Sit in stillness alone -- The first step is to take the time to really get to know who the real you is. Ask yourself what your higher purpose is and what you came here to do. Spend some time going deep with this. This is easily accomplished if you take the time to sit in stillness, journal, and spend time out doors in nature.

2. Understanding the only way to be truly lovable is to be authentic -- When I really "got this," everything changed for me. The truth is when you are tapped into and connected to who you really are you become magnetic and easily attract your hearts desires.

3. It's not about you, its about them -- Knowing that if someone doesn't like what you are saying or doing that it isn't really about you at all. It actually is about them and what they are dealing with internally. Understanding this will allow you to see that we really are all just mirrors for each other.

4. You are not a body; you are a soul -- You have so much knowledge and wisdom within who you really are. Your body is simple a vessel to allow you to express your truth. Being authentic allows you to bare your soul to the world and to share your gifts. You are here for a purpose and to serve others. You can really only be truly happy when you are aligned with who you are on a deeper level and can do it unapologetically.

I hope these tips will help you start to live a life of deeper meaning and ultimately a higher level of fulfillment and happiness. I know I have committed 2016 to being a year of true authenticity and I will no longer be hiding behind any masks, I hope you will choose to join me!

Sending you so much love! XO
