As far as comedy podcasts go, Julie Klausner's "How Was Your Week" is one of the most consistently funny ones out there. Fans in the New York area got a treat last Oct. 20, when Julie brought Ted Leo, Fred Armisen, Paul F. Tompkins and Billy Eichner with her to The Bell House in Brooklyn for a live version of the podcast that was full of surprises.
What kind of surprises, you ask? Try an impromptu performance of "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal, a bizarre Beatles cover by Fred Armisen, a 90s TV star live via satellite and the first-ever "IFC Roast Of Miranda July," a tribute of sorts that we can only describe as the product of a fever dream had by Klausner.
