While veteran shows struggle to incorporate the ailing economy into their story lines, networks are launching new shows born of the recession. In addition to new series in the slideshow below, Fox is developing a comedy called "Two-Dollar Beer" that follows a group of friends living in Detroit and trying to cope with the city's economy, while ABC Studios is developing "Canned" that focuses on a group of friends who all get fired on the same day.
