Reuters published a piece today regarding The Huffington Post’s investigation of Unaoil. The Huffington Post stands by its reporting. The investigation uncovered more than 100,000 documents, including emails and business contracts showcasing bribery of foreign officials.
Law enforcement agencies in Australia, Iraq, Monaco, the United States, and the United Kingdom are investigating Unaoil and its partners. Shortly after the publication of our stories, police in Monaco raided Unaoil's offices and interviewed its principals on behalf of Britain's Serious Fraud Office. Several major multinational corporations have disclosed that they are cooperating with these law enforcement investigations.
