Human Hair Quartet: Violin Bows Made Of Women's Tresses Advertise Cream Silk Conditioner (VIDEO)

WATCH: Quartet Uses Violin Bows Made Of What?

Plenty of people play with their hair, but who knew it could made such sweet music?

In an advertising stunt that's a lock to gain attention for its novelty, the horse hair traditionally used on violin bows was replaced with human hair treated by Unilever's Cream Silk conditioner.

Watch above as virtuosos provide a tress test by playing a 240-minute, 40-song concert with the bows at a mall in Manila.

According to a news release, about 600 gathered to watch the "human hair quartet" show orchestrated by ad agency JWT. Not a strand was broken and much product was pushed, the release noted.

Now that's sweet music to the advertiser.
