Hustler Club Lawsuit Ruling: William Ilg Must Pay $28,000 Tab

Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, which bills itself as a "10,000 square-foot playground of decadent adult entertainment," proved too much for one Manhattan man.

William Ilg ran up a $28,000 bill at the New York City strip club in 2011 and a judge has ordered him to pay up, the New York Daily News reports. Ilg claimed he had been too drunk to handle money and should be refunded for a tab he couldn't remember racking up. Ilg also sought punitive damages in the suit.

But now there will be no more dancing around his $28,109.60 credit card debt. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Manuel Mendez tossed out the complaint, writing that the club had no duty to protect Ilg from the consequences of his boozing.

Other patrons of gentlemen's clubs have also received unwanted exposure for their unpaid bills. Baltimore Ravens lineman Bryant McKinnie was sued in October for $375,000 over alleged unpaid debts to two Miami strip bars, the Baltimore Sun reported. McKinnie called the report "bogus."

In June, Florida resident Lokesh James sued Cabaret Bliss in Tampa for overcharging him $50,000, saying he spent only about $600.
