Vice President Dick Cheney, in a courageous retort worthy of a nine-year-old on a playground, has said that Sen. John McCain had it right when he said it is "a lie to say the President lied." It's "shameless and corrupt," said the man many believe to be the most shameless and corrupt person to ever hold the office. Later, off the record, he said it is "an international crime" to say that an unprovoked invasion of a sovereign state is an international crime; that it is "barbarous" to claim that there's anything barbarous about using white phosporous and depleted uranium as weapons, and that it is "torture" to claim that US forces and intelligence agencies engage in torture.
