'I Was A Glamour Don't': Reddit User Shares Experience Being Called Out For A Fashion Faux Pas

LOOK: 'I Was A Glamour Don't'

Most of us have probably flipped through a fashion magazine and lingered on the "Dos" and "Don'ts" section. "DON'T let it all hang out," "DO rock a red trench coat." But what if you saw yourself as one of the "Don'ts"?

That happened to Redditor lulzmolly when she was in high school, and on Tuesday, she posted the evidence online. "In high school I was put in Glamour magazine as a don't for wearing this jacket," she wrote. The jacket in question is a dinosaur hoodie. Her photograph was published with her eyes blacked out under the headline "Don't dress like a little girl" with the caption "What do you think they wear to work?"

She described on Reddit how she discovered the photo:

A stranger had seen a photo of me on MySpace with the jacket on and messaged me, and was just like uhh this is probably weird but I saw you in a magazine. Next day went to cvs with my mom and about sh*t a brick when I saw it.

To her credit, lulzmolly still has the jacket and found the whole thing more hilarious than insulting. She even bought a second copy of the magazine on Amazon after she lost the original.

"F**k those judgmental a**holes, I look fabulous!" she wrote.
