Ding ding ding! Ding ding ding! Have you heard that jingle this summer? That's the sound of the ice cream truck!

At HooplaHa.com we love to see kids who take initiative, and use their natural creativity, energy and enthusiasm to make things happen! College Creamery fits the bill. College Creamery, an ice cream truck business, is an entirely college student-run business out of Wilton, Connecticut. Lindsay, Taylor and Steph, the 20-year-old founders of College Creamery, noticed that the ice cream truck they remembered from their childhood was no longer around, so they decided to do something about it. That's the HooplaHa spirit!

You can see the girls driving around town in their restored and hand painted 1977 Chevy ice cream truck, a classic after all these years. Everyone remembers that 'Ding Ding Ding' of the ice cream truck! These girls really make people smile with that simple sound ...

"Currently there are very few ice cream trucks serving the Wilton and Fairfield County communities," say the girls. "We hope that our student-run business has become, and will continue to be, a valuable part of the Wilton community and help contribute to what makes it so special."

After covering the costs of keeping the business running, College Creamery's net proceeds go towards helping pay for the three girls' college expenses and supporting education in their local community. In fact, the girls so believe in the importance of education and community that they donate a percentage of every dollar earned to Wilton Education Foundation.
