Mild-Mannered Imam Has The Perfect Response to Sean Hannity's Bigoted Rant

Sean Hannity had two brave, mild-mannered imams on his program Tuesday night. It’s nearly impossible to imagine either laying a finger on anyone, much less condoning terrorism.

Yet for the duration of the segment, Hannity asked them time after time to account for all the crimes of the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims: Why did your people attack that rally in Texas? Why don’t you let women drive? Why do you treat gays so poorly? (Like Hannity cares.) Why are your people terrorists? Defend yourself against my prejudice!

“In the name of your prophet we have al Qaeda, we have Boko Haram, we have Hezbollah, we have Hamas, we have Islamic jihad,” Hannity said. “There’s a huge problem in Islam, and I would argue that it has to be fixed from within Islam.”

Imam Aslam Abdullah, director of the Islamic Society of Nevada, shot back with the perfect response to Hannity's raving lunacy.

“Mr. Hannity, life is sacred in Islam as well as Christianity and Judaism, and it is the collective responsibility of Muslims, Christians and Jews to stand for the sanctity of life regardless of where that life belongs to.”
