You might call him a model and you would be right. You might call him an international Hollywood actor, and you would be right again. If you referred to him as a human rights activist in his own right, you would be also correct. Waris Ahluwalia is a modern day renaissance man that represents all the above and more.

Waris was one the main highlights of Vancouver's beloved Indian Summer Festival. He graciously took the time to sit in front of my lens. Our dialogue was more than just a conversation of who, what, where, when, and how, it was a very refreshing commentary on our world and contribution to it in a modern sense.
