In Olympic Advertisements, "Parents" Are Often Actors

BEIJING -- Superstar hurdler Liu Xiang, a gold-medal hopeful at the Beijing Olympics, is often the center of attention on Chinese ads. But in a new campaign from one official sponsor of the Games, he takes a back seat to parents.

"A delicacy among dairy products, Satine is my choice," reads the tagline on billboard ads around Beijing for the dairy producer. They feature a portrait of a happy mother, father, and -- behind them -- Mr. Liu.
