In Praise of Witches Everywhere

Over the centuries, our culture has created a wonky, wicked view of witches. A whirlwind of power wielding from the Inquisition to the Salem witch hunts to modern-day Halloween costumes has turned the archetype of the female healer into a caricature. A true witch is a wise woman in tune with nature. I love a good witch; here's my tribute to her:

You are whole,
seeing earth, air, fire, water, divine glow in the flow of life,
the light of spirit everywhere,
in every being, petal, root its conscious sacredness.

You know how to heal because you've realigned with nature.
One, naturally.
You are love, set free and become.
You carry the wisdom of eternity within you, sharing abundantly.

I love a good witch.
