'In The Eye Of The Storm': Powerful Video Of Brazil Protests Will Give You Goosebumps

WATCH: Viral Video Of Brazil Protests Will Give You Goosebumps

Just like in Turkey, the widespread anti-government protests in Brazil over the past few days have already produced some powerful images on social media. The video above, titled "In The Eye Of The Storm," captures yet another protester's-eye-view of the clashes.

The dramatic, expertly filmed video depicts photographer Michel De Souza's attempt to document confrontations between activists and riot police.

Wearing goggles and a gas mask as protection, De Souza scuffles and darts amid tear gas bombs, Brazilian flags and chanting protesters clad in bandannas and Guy Fawkes masks. It's emotional stuff, to say the least.

The Brazil protests, which in some places swelled to more than 100,000 people, started with a group known as the Free Fare Movement, who were upset over an increase in subway and bus fares.

But the demonstrations exploded Monday night after images broadcast nationwide showed police attacking the fare protesters during a rally Thursday in Sao Paulo, the Associated Press reported.
