WASHINGTON -- The official Inaugural Ball may have sold out, but that doesn't mean there aren't enough other unofficial balls, fundraisers and parties to satisfy your celebratory needs.
In addition to the two balls President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will attend, there around 30 state balls, luncheons and parties. There are also more than 50 unofficial balls, fundraisers, parties and other gatherings scheduled.
Whether you're interested in spending $1,000 per ticket to support the National Museum of the American Indian or participate in some stretching at the Yoga Ball, there are enough events to keep a social butterfly busy from Jan. 18 through the early hours of Jan. 22.
