Four Inmates Escape Oklahoma Jail Through Shower Hatch

4 Inmates Escape Jail Through Shower

Four inmates are on the loose after escaping from an Oklahoma jail through a hatch in the shower.

UPDATE: Two of the escaped inmates, Dylan Ray Three Irons and Prime Brown, were captured about 20 miles away from the jail and taken into custody Monday.

Dylan Ray Three Irons, 21; Prime Brown, 23; Anthony James Mendonca, 24; and Triston Cheadle, 32; broke the lock on a maintenance hatch above a shower head at Caddo County Detention Center early Sunday morning, KFOR-TV reported. The four men, who apparently kept their clothes on in the shower, crawled through a pipe to freedom.

Jail authorities realized something was amiss when they received a call around 2:40 a.m. reporting that four suspicious-looking men in orange jumpsuits were walking near the jail, according to KJRH.

The four jumpsuits were later found discarded outside the jail, KOCO-TV reported.

Three Irons was being held at the jail on a probation violation charge, Brown on a burglary charge, and Mendonca on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and escaping arrest, ABC News reported. Cheadle was charged with armed robbery and was also awaiting sentencing on a methamphetamine possession charge, according to NBC News.

None of the inmates' crimes were related.

Anybody who spots any of the inmates is asked to call 911.
