When you say you're doing your best, are you really?

Or are you proceeding from the habituated space of limitation that has been getting you exactly what you've gotten over and over again?

Breaking down the walls of perception is an easy enough task, you'd think. Getting out of your own way seems a simple concept. So what's the problem?

We are creatures of habit, often self-defeating habit. We have been programmed to believe that we can have this and no more, that we are good at this, not that, that we are only so good. We train our minds to train our souls to buy the myth of impossibility, thus binding ourselves to mediocrity.

So, what's the secret? The secret is to create enough space that you can feel your way through the major decisions in every moment. Breathing in and being present are the most challenging concepts to execute, though they appear to be the simplest. It is in the quiet center, the simple knowing that your truth will reveal itself to you.

If the truth is, at its core, that you are not really doing your very best, if there is something you could be doing to make tiny steps toward your higher good and you are not taking them, when will you begin?

Take charge of your life today by focusing on being in this moment, in the center of your sacred chamber, in the center of your life, and tune in to what your body needs, your soul needs, what they are trying to tell you. If you ignore these things, you will remained trapped in a space of dis-ease and disconnect. If you tune into them, even just a little at a time, clarity will alight. Integrity with yourself will emerge, and your life will change just by being conscious and showing up.

It's not too late to do your best. Now is the time. Be your best. Find out what that means to you and begin now. Make a list of the things that make you happiest, the spaces in which you feel most free and at ease. Sift through the information and noise to hone in, stream-of-conscious, on your deepest desires for this life you're in. Start making small shifts in your life to move slowly, steadily toward your vision of great living. Be the person you know you can be.

Because you're in it now. There's no other time. So, when I ask are you doing your best? Are you really?

Tell the truth.

And get a move on doing your part to fill the space among us you were meant to occupy.
