Inside Donald Trump's $2.1 Million Childhood Home

Though Donald Trump was real-estate mogul before becoming President, his childhood house was not a Manhattan skyscraper. In fact, it's a Tudor-style residence in Jamaica, Queens, that Trump once called home. His parents lived there when he was born in 1946, reports StreetEasy. Located on a treelined street, the property includes a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen, and an office. There are six bedrooms, as well as a finished basement and a two-car garage. While a real-estate investor purchased the house for $1.4 million in December, it was put up for auction and sold for $2.14 million this month, reports CNN, for a total profit of about 54 percent. It may not be as luxurious as the Trump Towers, but the home can certainly stake a claim to fame.
