Broccoli Pizza Has Never Looked As Unappealing As It Does In This Exclusive 'Inside Out' Clip

Get Excited About 'Inside Out' With This Exclusive Clip

At this point in the summer, going to the movies is like trudging through sludge just to get to "Inside Out," the season's true highlight. Pixar's latest opens an enlightening window into the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley. Like everyone, she is driven by anthropomorphized emotions stationed inside her head, otherwise known as a command center called Headquarters. There's Joy, the leader of the pack, as well as Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger, all of whom experience Riley's life in real time and react accordingly. After moving to a new city, Riley must cope with the mixed-up feelings that are exacerbated by Joy and Sadness getting lost inside the depths of her mind. But before that, she must contend with broccoli pizza.

The Huffington Post has an exclusive new clip that showcases how Headquarters functions and what it's like for Riley to process her emotions' responses to events. We've seen "Inside Out," and let us just say that this scene represents only a fraction of what director Pete Docter has created. You are in for a treat come June 19.
