Apple Accidentally Leaks Photos And Details On New iPads

Apple may have just made a big mistake. One day before its big October event, the company seems to have accidentally released information about what will be unveiled -- namely an iPad Mini 3 and an iPad Air 2.

The images images appear to have accidentally shown up on Wednesday on an iBooks page in the iTunes store in the iOS 8 user guide. Some of the screenshots of the guide in iTunes were clearly not meant to be made public yet. It's a little blurry, but here's what you can see on iTunes:

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and the screenshot had not been taken down at the time of writing.

From the photo, we can tell that the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2 will feature Apple's Touch ID sensor, which lets you unlock your device with your fingerprint.

9 To 5 Mac also noticed that in a separate area of the user guide, Apple mentions that the iPad Air 2 can take burst photos, a feature that lets you take multiple photos per second.

We'll likely get all the details at Apple's event on Thursday. No word of a gold iPad yet.
