iPhone 4 REVIEWS: New iPhone Is 'Sexy,' 'Unbelievable'

On Monday, Apple announced its new iPhone, the iPhone 4. The device will start at $199 for a 16GB model and will go on sale in the US June 24.

Here are some early reviews of the new iPhone 4:

Gizmodo: "As a person who never really liked the round mound of a back in the 3GS, the sleeker, flatter, squarer design is super welcome. The metal buttons give it a heftier feel-less of a toy-than all previous generations."

Engadget: "[I]t's incredibly sexy. We'll hand it to Apple, the phone is so thin it's kind of mind-boggling. The 3GS by comparison looks bloated."

Larry Magid: "Apple has once again raised the bar."

Forbes: "It feels solid. Also: the screen resolution makes it very easy to read. Other than that, it works like an iPhone."

Ars Technica: "As for speed, the iPhone 4 is fast. It's hard to perceive the differences between an iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS, but it's definitely on the speedy side, on par with the iPad."

CNET: "No big surprises but technology lovers are still very excited about it all, myself included."

Ryan Block of gdgt: "Unbelievable screen. I am in complete awe."

TechLand: "FaceTime worked like a charm during my brief demo. It's nothing new but it's certainly a nice add-on when you're in range of Wi-Fi."

Wired: "The new glass back of the iPhone feels great, though it creates a new problem: smudges on not just the front, but the back of the device as well."
