Iran Hairstyles: Country Cracks Down On Men's 'Dos

Iran is cracking down on expressive hairstyles...men's hairstyles, that is. The Daily Mail reports that the country's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance is creating a catalog of acceptable hairdos for this month's Modesty and Veil Festival.

Among the new regulations, no long hair or ponytails, no mandatory beard and a bit of gel is okay. Those with illegal 'dos are taken to police stations where they are "unceremoniously and inexpertly shorn," according to the Mail.
