How might the world look if we operated from a place of seeking out our shared humanity? In this song, “Conformity,” I combine the ancient Iraqi Jewish song, “Eli Eli Lama,” with original punk rock music and original lyrics about my struggle finding my place in the Jewish world, as someone who doesn’t follow the conventional Jewish script.
