Hillary Clinton's ubiquitous brand recognition has a downside. It makes the Democratic frontrunner an easy target for Republicans.

If Tuesday's GOP debate revealed anything, it's that Hillary Clinton is the common enemy of the Republican Party.

But what's particularly interesting about Republicans attacking Clinton is that they almost always ignore Bernie Sanders.

Occasionally Sanders is brushed off as a socialist, but that's about it. We don't hear much concrete negativity about Sanders from the Republicans.

Perhaps Republicans focus their aim on Clinton, not only because she's the frontrunner, but also because she's the easier of the two Democratic targets.

After all, she's another candidate with a super PAC who voted for the Iraq War. Sanders, on the other hand, remains the tougher ship for Republicans to sink.
