It depends on who you ask. But when you are scrambling over these next few days to get your Valentine's Day game on, you should think carefully about your special someone and leave yourself out of the picture if you really want things to heat up. When you think of Valentine's Day, you probably think of men and women having a sexy night together. Right? Sure, that is what we are all hoping for, anyway. But the truth is that we are doomed because men and women have completely different ideas of what sexy means.

A recent survey proved that if you really want your partner to be happy on Valentine's Day, you're going to have to surrender most of your own fantasy. In fact, 60 percent of men said that naughty gifts are a turn-on, while 60 percent of women said they're a turn-off. That means that if you want to make your man happy, pick up something kinky and pretend to like it. Or guys, if you want to make your woman happy, a chivalrous gesture will get you closer to getting lucky on the big day.

So what exactly counts as a naughty gift, anyway? One third of the females surveyed responded that they'd get turned on by a romance novel. I can speak from experience that women do like a good narrative. It makes the experience more cerebral and imaginative. I'm sure you know that this was not a top choice for men, or even in the top five. I'll also bet that you can guess what is the number one naughty gift is that these surveyed men would like to receive, besides sex itself. Yup, porn. Guys are so predictable.

To further show that men just want to get down on Valentine's Day, a recent survey by RetailMeNot found that 57 percent of men want sex instead of a gift.

Maybe a way to find common ground on Valentine's Day is to get a naughty novel, read it aloud to each other and act out the scenes.

What about the opposite? Is your man more romantic than you? Is your woman more primal than you? What do you do for Valentine's Day to make each other happy?
