Nate Berkus' Gorgeous Renovation Of Iyanla Vanzant's Home Leaves Her Speechless (VIDEO)

It's the moment Iyanla Vanzant has been waiting months for.

After purchasing a new home in Maryland, the "Iyanla: Fix My Life" host almost had excitement-induced heart palpitations when Oprah surprised her with a total home makeover led by veteran designer Nate Berkus. The goal? Make Iyanla's dated abode reflect her true spirit and character. There were a few ups and downs throughout the design process (like Nate being blindsided by the one color Iyanla said she didn't want in her home), but the end result was nothing short of stunning.

"Oh, my God," Iyanla says in the above video, upon seeing her space for the first time. She's overwhelmed with emotion and pauses at the front door to catch her breath.

"I don't know what to say," she says, choked up.

"You don't have to say anything," Oprah tells her.

Gone is the dark vinyl floor, now replaced with earthy Travertine stone tiles. Anchoring the area is a dramatic 5-by-5-foot candelabra hanging overhead.

"The brass vases were also made locally," Nate says, pointing to the beautiful vessels atop the glass dining room table.
