James Corden Argues Why Donald Trump Should Be Allowed A State Visit To The UK

He has a point.

James Corden thinks Donald Trump paying an official state visit to the United Kingdom may not be such a bad thing.

A petition to ban the president from being Queen Elizabeth II’s guest at her Buckingham Palace home has garnered more than 1.8 million signatures and sparked a debate in U.K. parliament. But the “Late, Late Show” host pointed out Tuesday how it could actually end up being pretty fascinating.

Kind of like “the greatest sitcom of all time,” said Corden, who desperately wants the encounter between POTUS and the monarch to be filmed.

He later suggested a title for what could become a groundbreaking reality TV show starring the duo.

Corden went on to poke fun at Trump’s new national security adviser, Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster. And he highlighted the controversy over the amount of time the president spends on the golf course ― but he made a compelling case for why Trump should be allowed to stay there for as long as he wants.
