A Florida man is behind bars for allegedly sexually assaulting a puppy in front of horrified onlookers.
Daytona Beach police arrested James Guy Bull, 61, after neighbors reported seeing him rape an 8-month-old female puppy on his front porch.
Editor's note: The details contained in the police report are extremely disturbing.
According to the police report, two witnesses said they had previously seen the suspect placing his fingers into the sex organs of a young, small, light brown mixed-breed puppy on several occasions while the animal barked in distress.
One witness also told police he once observed Bull sitting on a chair outside of his apartment with his pants down to his ankles. The dog was in his hands with her rear close to his genitalia.
When the responding officers approached the suspect's porch, they saw the dog chained to a post with only eight inches of slack. There was no water, food or shade for the animal.
The officers described the puppy's condition in the police report as "clearly emaciated" with "a very swollen vagina."
One of the witnesses freed the dog from the chains and coaxed her to the front yard where she was taken by the Halifax Humane Society for medical treatment.
Bull was taken into custody and charged with two counts of animal cruelty. He remains in the Volusia County Branch Jail on a $15,000 bond, Gawker reported.
Bull's arrest comes just two weeks after the arrest of Bernard Marsonek, 57, who allegedly had sex with a pit bull in the front yard of his Tampa, Fla., home, despite his neighbors' protests.
