Jan Brewer Mystery Tour Brings Her To Afghanistan: Report

Jan Brewer's Secret Location Revealed?

The mystery of Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer's (R) whereabouts got one step closer to being solved on Tuesday, as Bloomberg reported that the governor was in Afghanistan visiting with U.S. military personnel.

Bloomberg cited a discussion with an unnamed "person familiar with the governor’s schedule."

Brewer had reportedly left the state for an undisclosed location over the weekend, leaving her deputy, Secretary of State Ken Bennett (R), to oversee the official certification of Arizona's recent election results as acting governor.

Brewer's office refused to answer specific questions about her travel plans, but did confirm that she'd visited Army combat medic Mason Steill at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. on Monday.

The governor is expected to return to Arizona on Saturday.
