Jane Cosmetics Makes A Bold Comeback From The '90s

Your Favorite '90s Makeup Brand Makes A Bold Comeback

Getting my hands on Jane Cosmetics again is just as exciting, if not even more exciting, than watching Justin Timberlake perform his best pop hits at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. "Cry Me a River" is still the jam!

The iconic beauty brand, whose dusty rose blush and shiny purple lip gloss we wore religiously as teenagers, has a bold new look that women of all ages will love. After filing bankruptcy and near-liquidation, New York financier Lynn Tilton has been working hard since 2009 to revamp the beloved '90s drugstore brand.

Its eye-dilating shades haven't changed a bit, however, the reformulation of Jane Cosmetics makes for even better color payoff and staying power. Case in point: I drank two cups of vanilla chai while wearing Million Dollar Smile Intense Color Lip Gloss (a bright berry red) and didn't need to do a single touch-up.

Introducing a pH-adjusting lip gloss and BB cream (beauty balm) to its line of over 100 products also proves that Jane Cosmetics is a major player in today's beauty game. And I must say that I'm pretty impressed by the "Dark" BB cream's ability to seamlessly blend into my skin.

Jane Cosmetics' new sleek black packaging also has a more grown-up feel that makes it less embarrassing to whip out my makeup bag or purse. But the brand is staying true to its BFF roots by featuring the faces of real women who give back to their communities, also known as "Friends of Jane," on the products.
