"Jane The Virgin" fans have certainly had a taste of Juanes. The show's theme song is one of the star's latest singles "Una Flor," and now audiences will get to experience the Colombian rocker's acting debut.
For two weeks, many have waited (rather impatiently) to find out what is going on with Rafael and where is he going? But if the Chapter Eight trailer is any indication, it seems that he doesn't get too far and is about to hear three surprising words from Jane.
On another more musical note, it seems that Xo's singing dreams are looking up thanks to guest star Juanes. The star filmed the scenes a few months back, and in an interview with The Huffington Post mentioned why he decided to take the role.
"It's the first time I'll be doing this," Juanes told HuffPost in September. "Well, I did something small in Mexico once, and now I'm going to do it again. But I see it as something fun. I'm not an actor at all, but I think I can do it. I'm going to try and see it how it goes, and it's going to just be something fun. My thing is music and that's where I'm going to stay, but [...] they chose my song for the series and then they told me 'Hey, if you want to [do] something, you're welcome to,' and they proposed this. And I said, 'Well, OK, yes.'"
