Japanese Girl Shreds Guitar, Gender Stereotypes, With Face-Melting Metal Solo

WATCH: Japanese Girl Shreds Guitar, Gender Stereotypes

Just because she's nearly the same size as her instrument doesn't mean this Japanese girl's metal solo won't melt your face clean off.

Known on YouTube only as Li-sa-x, the 8-year-old shared this video last December in which she covers "Scarified" by Racer X. Despite her diminutive stature, she totally shreds.

On her Facebook page, Li-sa-x says her musical influences are Guthrie Govan and Paul Gilbert, both highly accomplished electric guitarists.

What's a gender stereotype, again?
