Jason Silva is maybe the most powerful and attractive philosopher of our times. When I listen to his voice and his ideas, I can really feel my energy rising and I believe that anything is possible.

Jason is a media artist, futurist, keynote speaker and TV personality. He is the creator of Shots of Awe, a short film series of "trailers for the mind" that serve as philosophical espresso shots exploring innovation, technology creativity, futurism and the metaphysics of the imagination. He is also the Emmy nominated host of National Geographic Channel's hit TV series Brain Games, airing in over 100 countries.

For me Jason is: an inspiration, an adventure into the unknown, an amazing aquarius (like me, hahaha), a hypnotist, a beautiful soul, and a very gifted and blessed man. Let's find more...

1. What is behind your success? Can you tell me, please, something that nobody knows about you?

I am not sure I know exactly what has lead to success in my world. I can certainly say that I'm extremely passionate about what I do. Communicating big ideas cinematically is a primary driver and motivation for me. I have a fire in the belly. My work is a vocation, a calling.

The success of BrainGames on National Geographic is certainly a testament to the hard work of many talented collaborators. The success of my digital series Shots of Awe is a sign that people are vibrating with me. We are resonating. It's wonderful.

Something that most people don't know is that my videos are totally unscripted. They are true streams of consciousness.

2. What is the biggest gossip about this world?

I don't deal in much gossip.

3. If you could have anyone locked in a room so that you could torment him/her with questions for a day, whom would you choose and what would you ask him/her?

Probably Jamie Wheal and Steven Kotler, founders of the Flow Genome Project.

4. What questions do you hate to answer?

Haha. I don't mind questions.

5. If you had a brainwashing machine, what would be your first thought that you put in there?

I'd brainwash myself into fearing nothing.

6. What is your weirdest dream?

I dream that technology will eventually offer humanity a chance at immortality.

7. What was the happiest day of your life? The invisible. The magic. Something that changed you forever.

The happiest days of my life have been days in which I push beyond the darkness, and let go completely. Ecstatic release is the moment of cathartic transformation. I am purged in these moments. Hikes in nature are very helpful for this. Uncannily so.
